Scope and Content Opening to a lecture written by the secretary of John Britton but never used. This was likely prepared for Britton’s RIBA lecture delivered on the 12 January 1846. The opening acknowledges Sir Walter Scott’s help in preparing the lecture and is followed by an excerpt of a Charter by the Masons to Sir William St Clare translated into English.
