Scope and Content Fergusson draws comparison between the ornamentation of Rosslyn Chapel to the ecclesiastical architecture of Spain and Portugal, noting Relen Chapel, Lisbon, as a specific example. He recounts that the idea came to him after viewing a portfolio of Spanish sketches purchased at auction by a friend.
