Scope and Content The Tummel Valley Hydro-Electric scheme comprises nine power stations, Cuaich, Loch Ericht, Rannoch, Guar, Tummel Bridge, Errochty, Trinafour, Clunie and Pitlochry, which are fed by a complex of interconnected lochs and reservoirs including Loch Rannoch, Loch Ericht and Loch Tummel. The flow of water is regulated by a number of man-made dams and tunnels, and this collection of images documents the scheme. It is one of a series recording the eight major hydro-electric schemes in Scotland.
