Scope and Content This field N of the Stacathro Roman site (and 750m E of Westside farmhouse) shows features which probably precede it. Now a designated monument, these cropmarks probably represent an unenclosed settlement with two ring-ditches (probably house-sites), two crescentic cropmarks, a possible souterrain and several short linear features, some of which may be souterrain-like structures.
