Scope and Content  A view of Inverness from the N looking down the River Ness and centred on the Longman with the rail and three road bridges across the river clearly shown. Inverness Railway Station can also be seen with the railway line to the N curving round to the W. The Merkinch area is visible with part of the Longman Industrial Estate and note also the tall ship berthed at the Shore Quay.
