Scope and Content The Ord is an extensive Scheduled Monument comprising chambered cairns, cairns, settlements and field systems, including numerous hut circles. The telecoms mast dominates this image. The area of this rather hazy photograph includes several archaeological features (not readily distinguishable in this view) including field clearance heaps, a round cairn, a possible round cairn, and two chambered cairns.
