Scope and Content A wide view of moorland stretching towards the coast, centred on Sandside Bay. In the lower right quadrant, a line of pylons is visible. To the right of the fourth from the bottom is a small fank and, directly in front of it and right, is a bronze or iron age roundhouse, one of many in the area. To the left of the pylons in the lighter greener areas is the site of the former Braxdale settlement. Between Brackside and the track on the right, and also above the fank, are a number of roundhouses and other signs of contemporary settlement.
