(Location cited as NX 421 543). Bladnoch Distillery, founded 1817 by John and Thomas McClelland, and rebuilt 1878. The complex consists of one-, two- and three-storey rubble buildings with a single kiln, substantially 19th century in construction.

This sprawling complex of buildings extends along the N bank of tge River Bladnoch to the NW of Bladnoch Bridge (NX45SW 33). The grid reference cited refers to the production and administrative buildings at the E end; there are extensive bonded stores to the W.
