Situated on a low ridge running ESE from Balmalloch chambered cairn (NX28SE 1), there are about twenty-three small cairns, twelve of which are only visible as low mounds on the surface of the peat. The largest cairn (85m SSW of the chambered cairn) measures 6m in diameter and 0.8m in height, but the majority are only about 4m in diameter.
