A large cairn, reduced to a height of from 2' to 3', and measuring 50' in diameter, lies near the upper end of the second field to the north of the head of the Glen Plantation. An excavation near the circumference on the west seems to indicate the removal of a cist, but the primary interment has probably not been disturbed.

This cairn is situated on a low knoll 730m SSE of the summit of Craig Fell. The cairn measures about 15m in diameter by 0.9m in height but it has been severely damaged by forestry ploughing. There is no trace of the 'excavation' from which it was suggested that a cist had been removed.
