A cairn about 62 feet in diameter now reduced to a height of from 2 feet to 3 feet and grass covered. No cist is exposed.

The cairn is generally as described by RCAHMS. Although grass-covered quite a number of stones lie exposed on its surface.

This cairn measures 22.5m in diameter and 1.0m in maximum height. There is otherwise no change to the previous information.

Field Visit (8 April 1986)
A large robbed cairn is situated in a field on the S flank of Hill Mabreedia 60m S of the approach road to Barnshangan and some 600m W of the farmhouse. It measures 20m in diameter by a maximum of 0.5m in height and it has been used as a dump for field-cleared stones.
