Field Visit (28 April 1981)

At NC 7350 0783, on the south-west margin of the summit of Creag Leac nam Fithich, is a peat and heather-covered cairn, measuring 5.0m diameter by 0.6m high; the perimeter is delineated by earthfast slabs contiguous in the SW arc, intermittent for the remainder. The cairn appears undisturbed.

NC70NW 42 7351 0785

This heather-covered cairn, which is situated to the SSE of the summit of Creag Leac nam Fitheach, measures 5.5m in diameter and 0.8m in height. It has been surrounded by a boulder kerb, and the only damage to the cairn has been the removal of the stones forming the E half of the kerb.
