Field Visit (10 May 1995)

NC70NW 39 centred 7296 0500

There are about twenty small cairns, measuring up to 5m in diameter and 0.4m in height, on a well-drained hillside to the WNW of Achnagarron. Several cairns lie within the semi-improved, partially wooded, ground to the E of the earth-and-stone dyke and fence which delimits the western extent of the enclosed ground around Achnagarron.
