Archaeology Notes

NS79NE 13 774 972.

(NS 7757 9746) Cropmarks visible on St Joseph AP's.

Additional cropmarks of a similar character visible on RAF AP's (F21/542/RAF/206: 0140-2, flown 1955). Possibly old drainage channels.

Area NS 774 972 - These cropmarks, on the flood plain of the River Teith, are almost certainly the result of old drainage ditches and damp areas of ground. Nothing is to be seen on the ground.
