The standing stone by the roadside at Stronach is of red sandstone and measures 9ft 8ins x 5ft x 1ft 11ins. It is oriented NE-SW.

Field Visit (24 October 1977)

NS 0100 3660. A standing stone situated in a level area on the side of the Brodick to Lochranza road. It is 2.4m high, 1.8m broad and 0.6m thick.

Surveyed at 1:2500. Photograph.
