(NS 0394 2207) Urn found AD 1875 (NAT)

OS 6" map, (1924)

A cinerary urn containing burnt bones was found on Dippen farm in 1875. It is 11 1/4ins high, 9 1/2ins at its mouth, and 5 ins at base. There do not appear to be any other relics. Urn and bones are in Glasgow Art Gallery and Museum.
