Archaeology Notes (1977)

NR83SE 19 8997 3121.

A cist 2.0m long.

Information from DoE Mss Arran Field Survey 1976.

NR 8997 3121 A group of four large boulders situated near the edge of a small scarp in open moorland. These boulders, one of which appears to be living rock, are irregular in shape and up to 0.5m thick. They do not have the appearance of cist slabs and the arrangement is probably fortuitous.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (TRG) 28 September 1977.
