An extensive area of rig and furrow, field boundaries and what are probably palaeochannels, is recorded on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2010). The principal area of rig is centred at NS 0833 5626 and the individual rigs, which cross the ditched field boundaries, are orientated NW to SE, and measure about 3m across between furrows. Another area of rig, centred at NS 0846 5629, consists of broader rigs, 6m across, orientated NW to SE.
