NG 3716 2291 On a shelf on the NW slopes of An Cruachan, a little west of Kraiknish Burn, about 530 feet above sea-level, there is a hut circle in a fair state of preservation.
It measures internally 4.0m NE-SW by 5.0m transversely, with turf-covered stone walling 1.5-2.0m wide and 0.2m high. The entrance is to the N. There is some slight scarping of the hill slope around E and S sides. (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/372: 3143-4)

Field Visit (31 August 2016)
Standing on steep ground immediately S of the head-dyke of Kraiknish township, this hut is oval on plan and measures 3.8m from N to S by 3.4m transversely within a deflated turf wall 1.6m in thickness and 0.3m in height at the rear. There appears to be an entrance at the N (downhill) end and there is a marked turf-stripping halo around the hut. About 20m to the ESE there is a small quarry (NG 37184 22899).
