OS 6"map, (1962).

This linear earthwork originates on a steep slope just N of the N fork at the head of Twise Hope and runs S from there along the base of the W face of Watch Knowe to the marshy ground at the head of the S fork. Its length is just over 200 yds, and it consists of the usual ditch and bank, though for much of its length it has been reduced to a terrace. Its S end approaches very close to but is not structurally continuous with NT71SE 20 (qv).

RCAHMS 1956, visited 1938 and 1946.
