A cluster of four abandoned sheepfolds. They clearly indicate a constructional progression (presumably during different periods) from turf banks to stone walls.

a. A low circular turf bank 14.0m in overall diameter, 0.3m high and 0.4m wide which was probably the footing for a fence or thicket hedge.

b. A circular collapsed turf bank 19.0m in overall diameter, 0.5m high and 3.0m wide.

c. A ruined circular stone-and-turf wall, 12.0m in overall diameter, now 0.7m high and 0.6m wide.

d. A circular dry-stone wall, 15.0m in overall diameter, 1.1m high and approximately 1.0m wide at the base.

They all have entrances in the south.

A fifth sheepfold nearby at NT 0326 4958 is relatively modern, being a rectangular dry stone wall 12.0m by 10.0m, 1.5m high and approximately 0.6m at the base.
