OS 6" map, Argyllshire, 2nd ed., (1900)

These two standing stones, of sandstone, are not more that 4ft high. Two "clerics" are locally said to have been hanged near here.

F Celoria 1959.

Two limestone standing stones 2.4m apart in line ENE-WSW. The west stone is triangular at the base 0.6m by 0.9m by 1.0m and tapers to a pointed top 1.7m. high. The east stone is also triangular at the base measuring 0.8m by 0.8m by 0.7m. It is tilted south at an angle of 45 and is 1.25m high. Part of the stone has broken off along a natural fissure.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.
