A flat bronze axe some 6ins long 'found in the neighbourhood of Inverness' according to the card accompanying the exhibit, is in Inverness Museum; no accession number.
Visited by OS 31 March 1960.
Coles, listing a type Ba axe from Fairfield Road, Inverness, in Inverness Museum, is presumably referring to the same axe. (Fairfield Road runs from NH 6526 4553 to NH 6618 4524).
