HY50SW 11 5384 0223.

At HY 5384 0223 there is a mound of earth and burnt stones, 1.0m high, which is known locally as "the Cairn" No finds have been made here, but the mound appears to have been mutilated by quarrying.

Resurveyd at 1/2500.

Situated about 330m SSW of Stembister there is a shapeless and mutilated mound at the edge of a field; although recorded as a burnt mound, it shows no signs of burnt material, and the farmer, Mr Skea, has never noticed any.
