Scope and Content This ground view looks south-east down Menstrie Glen from the southern flank of Loss Hill. The landscape is virtually empty now, populated only by sheep, the ultimate conclusion of the rationalisation of the holdings and the changes in land management set in train by James Wright in the 1760s.
