Scope and Content St Peter's Parish Church, Inverkeithing, Fife St Peter's Parish Church consists of a 14th-century tower with a main block built in 1826 by James Gillespie Graham. The inside was remodelled in 1900. This shows the main body of the church, built in 1826 in perpendicular Gothic style. Gothic architecture, the distinctive pointed-arched style of the later Middle Ages, was revived in the late 18th century. It remained popular for public buildings, especially churches, well into the 20th century. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
