Scope and Content A view of a whitewashed lighthouse, outbuildings and cottages on the shores of a low promontory. There are fields and woods on the background hills. Toward Lighthouse stands on a headland and has been operational since 1812. It was designed with a fog-bell, and a lamp which flashed every ten seconds.
