Scope and Content A substantial castle with several towers and turrets, surrounded by wide lawns and specimen trees. There is a flagpole on the roof. Kinnaird Castle is a 19th century mansion house and is the seat of the Earl of Southesk. In the grounds is "Pictavia", a new visitor centre telling the story of the ancient Picts.
