Scope and Content A view from the ornamental terrace of a formal garden with, shrubbery, topiary and standard trees. There is an obelisk sundial at the centre of the path and flowerbeds. King Robert I gave the nobleman's descendant, Sir Malcolm Drummond, the estate in Perthshire for service at the Battle of Bannockburn. An estate at Drymen or Drummond in Stirlingshire was gifted by King Malcolm to a Hungarian nobleman who arrived with the Anglo-Saxon princess Margaret (later Queen, and Saint) in 1067. King Robert I gave the nobleman's descendant lands in Perthshire.
