Scope and Content A rowing boat at the shore of a loch with a castle on terraced land on the far shore with a wooded hill behind. Houses and buildings are visible amongst the trees. A large building with a central battlemented tower with courtyard before it. There are lower wings with gabled roofs and turrets on each side of the courtyard. The building consists of a 16th century tower with 18th century and 19th century additions. The tower was originally owned by the Agnew family.
