Scope and Content Small railway station at the end of a long iron girder railway bridge, with a steam driven engine pulling a passenger train with eleven carriages across the bridge; boat about to pass beneath the piers, city and woods beyond. Wormit Station. This was one of many closed in the late 1960s. Oxo and Esso advertisements on station. Piers of the original bridge, which collapsed in December 1879, are still visible in the river.
