Scope and Content The largest dam of the Affric scheme, seen here, is at Loch Mullardoch, at the head of Glen Cannich. It is also the largest in Scotland. The loch itself was created in 1951 by the construction of the dam; a smaller loch predates it, but has since been submerged under this larger body of water.
