Scope and Content Kendoon Loch water enters from the north and its tributaries. The dam keeps the water back in the loch, where it can be released to drive the turbines at Kendoon Power Station, part of the Galloway Hydro-Electric Power Scheme. The dam is 156 metres above sea level.
