Scope and Content Copies of papers created by the architect Ian Gordon Lindsay (1906-1966). Comprises: 10 cuttings, parchment, all but one dated from 1788-1789. From historic ledgers or business receipts with London addresses; 1 piece of paper, 168mm x 94mm, with small drawings and notes; 1 Postcard with b&w image of Dunbar Castle. 122mm x 83mm; 1 Admission ticket stub, Cambuskenneth Abbey. Undated. 80mm x 52mm. Also in this grouping, but not copied, are: 4 cuttings of images of historic buildings, from "The ---ere" magazine dated 8 September 1923. Ink on glossy paper. Range of sizes but all approx 80mm x 60mm. Includes gateway of Falkland Palace; Chapel of Falkland Palace; Lindisfarne Priory; Alnwick Castle; 12 cuttings, all approx. 150mm x 125mm, of "Tom Smith's Christmas Crackers" puzzles. Of the "Find the --" variety. Undated. Ink on paper.
