Enclosed are two letters dated 19/08/1950 and 22/08/1950 from Anders Jespersen, c/o County Buidldings, Cupar, Fife, to Ian Lindsay. The letters indicate this manuscript was written and sent by Jespersen and that he will begin working on the resume of the Eden Report, with two copies of the Report being worked on at a bookbinders. In the second letter, dated 22/08/1950 an additional handwritten note in ink, presumably by Lindsay, indicates he was going to review the piece and reply to Andersen.
Administrative History This material was compiled by Lindsay from a relatively young age. The notebook and cuttings, minus the 1780s clippings, date to c.1918-1922 - making Lindsay somewhere between 12 and 16 years of age - indicating his burgeoning interest in the historic architecture of Scotland.
