Scope and Content This view of Inverness focuses on the Holm area of the city. Lochardil woods are on the left and Stratherrick Road runs up the left side of the photo. The section of this road which runs through the Essich roundabout is on the line of the 1726 military road. Holm Primary School, opened 1974, is in the centre and the Dores Road, which runs along the line of the 1732 military is at bottom right. Holm House motte is among the trees in the upper right section of the photo. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
