Scope and Content This image looks across the base of the Chanonry Peninsula on the south side of the Black Isle. The southern edge of Fortrose is on the L, Rosemarkie at top R, and housing development on the peninsula at bottom R. At centre of the image is the preparation for a new housing development. The white lines in the field are the trial archaeological trenches preparatory to this development. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
