Scope and Content This view shows, at the bottom of the photo: the railway line between Dingwall and Inverness, the A 862, and the Mannsfield Show ground, where the Black Isle Show is held annually. Gilchrist cottages are at the top of the picture. Also is the site of a promontory Fort, early Bronze age to Pictish. 3 arcs of concentric rings were seen from the air, said to be part of the defences.
