Scope and Content This image shows the N end of Lunan Bay looking towards the Montrose Basin (on the L of the image), Montrose Bay (on the R) and the burgh of Montrose between them. Scurdie Ness lighthouse can be clearly seen on the R of the image, at the end of Montrose Bay. At the back of the Lunan Bay beaches runs a string of anti-tank WWII defences.
