Scope and Content This is a view of the NW part of Edderton. Balblair Distillery (founded 1790) is just coming into view at the bottom of the photo. Edderton Station is situated where the road crosses the railway line and at centre right there is a cist/stone circle/possible henge. The Cartomie Wood cairnfield can be seen clearly in the snow on the left of the railway line. There is a firing range on the coastline above it.
