Scope and Content A very wide view looking down the Great Glen, with the medieval chapel and settlement of Alturlie at the end of the point far left. Above, and right of centre, a vitrified fort lies on the top of the prominent tree-covered hilltop of Ord Hill. The Kessock bridge north of Inverness, is to its left, spanning the Moray Firth.
