Scope and Content This view of the Cromarty Firth from the Cromarty Bridge looks towards Dingwall and Maryburgh. The Cromarty Bridge opened in 1979, providing a more direct route north for the upgraded A9 over the Black Isle. At this southern end of the bridge there is the disused Findon Quarry and several fish traps on the shoreline.
