Scope and Content  A wide view of the southern end of the Loch of Yarrows with the broch and surrounding structures on the shore, right of centre. Above, and left of centre, are the current South Yarrows croft buildings incorporating earlier structures. In the lower right foreground above the near shore is a burial cairn and in the rougher ground, left of centre, a number of bronze or iron age roundhouses and other settlement features. One of the roundhouses lies below centre, left of the fence and a patch of gorse with another directly left of that one. Further left below the right corner of a later rectangular enclosure and to the left of the left hand corner of the enclosure are two burial cairns.
