Scope and Content Bunchrew House and garden is in the trees to the left, on the S shore of the Beauly Firth. It was built in 1615, with later additions. There is no trace of the moat and drawbridge recorded around the house. The house is now (2020) a hotel. A slipway and concrete pipe line is visible on the photo, extending from highwater to the shore, no details on HER or Canmore. Further to the left is the remains of a jetty or groyne. A caravan and tent campsite is to the right. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
