Scope and Content Bunchrew House and garden is in the trees to the left, on the S shore of the Beauly Firth. It was built in 1615, with later additions. There is no trace of the moat and drawbridge recorded a previously being around the house. The house is now (2020) a hotel. A slipway and concrete pipe line is visible on the photo, extending from highwater to the shore, no details on HER or Canmore. Further to the left are the remains of a jetty or groyne. A caravan and tent campsite is to the right. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
