Scope and Content This is a very wide view of the area around Maryburgh and Conon Bridge with Loch Ussie and Knockfarril just above centre. Maryburgh is a C19 village and named in honour of the wife of Lord Seaforth, Mary Proby. Conon Bridge was laid out in 1829. Knockfarril is a vitrified fort.
