Date 8/2002

Collection Records of CFA Archaeology Ltd, archaeologists, Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland

Catalogue Number MS 5790

Scope and Content This report (17 pages and 1 map) was commissioned by BMT Cordah Ltd on behalf of National Wind Power Ltd, and produced by CFA Archaeology Ltd. It is a baseline Report on a Cultural Heritage Assessment of the proposed extension to Novar Windfarm, near Evanton, Ross and Cromarty. The archaeological potential of the study area was low. Within the proposed development area only one site was found. However a number of sensitive receptors were identified within a 10 km radius of the arae, four listed buildings and seven Scheduled Ancient Monuments. A small number of key constraints were identified and mitigation proposals presented.
