Scope and Content Ink on paper, with pencil annotations. The drawing shows an elevation of the foot and head of three columns within the interior of Rosslyn chapel, including those of the apprentice’s pillar. A vertical section of each column is shown above these elevations. The drawing appears to have been pasted into the album upside down. The original sketches upon which this drawing is based are located in the sketchbook of Joseph Michael Gandy held in the Sir John Soane’s Museum, London.
