What is probably a ploughed out barrow has been recorded as parchmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2010) on a broad terrace to the ESE of Dunstrone fort (NS05SE 1). The barrow measures about 4m in diameter within a ditch about 1.2m across. The faint marks of what may a pit are visible in the interior and around the W to NW external arc of the ring ditch. The barrow is overlain by a several furrows, which may be the remains of rig orientated from WNW to ESE and measuring about 3.5m across between furrows.
