Toll House [NAT]
OS 1:2500 map, 1963.
(Location cited as NH 653 460). Tollhouse, Muirtown, early 19th century. A single-storey rubble building, on an L plan, with a semi-octagonal front. There is space for a toll charges panel on the front. There are drip mouldings above the windows and panels, and the windows are diamond-paned.

Clachnaharry Road Tollhouse – NH64NE 247.00
NH 65106 46092 – a tollhouse dating to the 1840s (information from owner/occupier) comprises two buildings joined by a narrow corridor. The original west building is used as a residential house and the east, which has been recently constructed in the mode of the original building, is a museum. The surrounding garden has various seafaring relicts.
